We left Cambodia and arrived in Vietnam for the week of festivities before the Tet : the Vietnamese New Year. Then the Coflocs joined me for a week in Ho-Chi-Minh to talk about my hitchhiking world tour in their film Generation Tour du Monde (english subtitles available). We took a month to cross the country towards the North. In Hanoi my boyfriend Sebastian flied for three months to New Zealand and my parents arrived to visit me. After three weeks spent in this charming and noisy capital, I hitchhiked around the north-eastern part of the country for a month and a half. This mountainous region, similar to northern Laos, is stunning. So I took my time and ended up using my full three months visa! This country touched me and the food delighted me. Along with Japan, Vietnam is my favorite country for food. I pursued my journey in  China .
