THE WORLD BY THUMB

100% hitchhiking - 100% world tour - Since 2013 - By Florence Renault

THAILAND

from October, 11th to 31st 2017

from November, 28th to December, 27th 2017

My boyfriend Sebastian and I crossed the border between Malaysia and Thailand by foot. Then we headed north along the east coast to the village of Bang Saphan Yai where we rest for a week in a beach bungalow. We discovered the submarine world with a scuba-diving introduction class. In Bangkok, we attended the official ceremony of the king funeral. Then we speed up to Myanmar to arrive in time at the hot air balloon festival of Taunggyi. A month later, we came back to Thailand and this time visited the north of the country. In Chiang Mai, I joined a two weeks intensiv classes of Thai massage. After Christmas, we hitchhiked  to Laos to pursue my hitchhiking world tour.
