From northern Thailand , we cross to northern Laos. We celebrated new year's eve in the hot springs of Muang La village. After a few days in the amazing mountains of Nong Khiaw and Muang Ngoy, I continued alone my hitchhiking world tour towards the South, spent 24 hours in Vang Vieng to party, then visited in Luang Prabang and Vientiane. I enjoyed the landscapes of the north, but in the south, the weather and the people are warmer. Hitchhiking is much easier there. After a few days of volunteering in an English school on a Mekong island, I kept hitchhiking to Cambodia .
