100% hitchhiking - 100% world tour - Since 2013 - By Florence Renault

After seeing the west coast of Canada , I arrive in Alaska, one of the favorite regions of my hitchhiking world tour. I travel to Haines, Mc Carthy and Wrangell-St Elias National Park where I hike for three days. Then I continue to Valdez and meet my friend Mathilde in Anchorage, the capital of Alaska. We reach out to Homer, Seward and Ninilchik to volunteer in the Salmonfest music festival. With maps in our hands, we walk several days in Denali National Park. Then we leave for Canada. A month later, I return to Alaska: to Haines then to Skagway to walk the Chilkoot Trail, the famous gold rush trail.
