After eight months spent in New Zealand , I walked several marinas of the North Island to search for a free sailboat heading to Australia. In the marina  of Whangarei, I met an English-Polish family who accepted to welcome me as a crewmember to help with the night shifts. After eleven days crossing the Tasman Sea and a big storm, we arrived safe on the Australian east coast where I continued my hitchhiking world tour.
